To make my Translate section on ThirdGoal.com run horizontally, I did the following:

I opened up wp-translate.php and simply changed all of the LI tags to SPAN tags.

&langpair=en%7Cde&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8">/wp-content/plugins/wp-translate/images/germany.gif" alt="German flag" />

You could leave them as LI tags and just use some CSS to make it appear horizontal, but SPAN works best for me.

In my sidebar.php file, I did this:

      Translate

And in my CSS file I did this:

#translate {margin: 1px; padding: 0;}

#translate img {
	margin: 1px;
        padding: 0;
        height: 15px;
	width: 22px;
	}

I also modified all of the IMG files so that each flag was 22px wide by 15px tall. If you want your flags to also be the same size, just download what I did.

Is there any way to make the translation bar display horizontally? It's just that the theme I'm using (Rin) doesn't display the sidebar on individual posts so I was going to put the translations in the footer.

Hey, I just read your blog in Greek ...
Very cool plugin, I'll use it.

(and then, I'll congratulate Google for the hilarious translation)
