I know I don’t post much anymore, but I should. In my internet travels, I’ve come across some terms that mean something different than my imagination makes them sound (I know exactly what they mean, my brain just goes off in the other direction.)

In the UK, Endowment Selling is a way to make more money from life insurance. To my imagination, it sounds like male prostitution

Data Recovery Service

There are many companies offering to help you get your data back after a hard drive crash. Think about it though, it sounds like some kind of spy operation. They recover stolen data from terrorists or something.
